on the throne. King of
kings and Lord of
lords.
Being one born in
1944, its seems so
surreal to talk about
the year 2010. I
always wondered
what it would be like
to see the 21st
century, 2000. Now
it's ten years later.
We were concerned
about a computer
crash,Y2K, and a
failure of our
communications
system that would
bring chaos to the
world and now it's
2010 and all is still
working. The world is
still controlled by
God's timing and
plan. Not man's!!
I believe were coming
to a time when "The
Church" is beginning
to return to" the Word
of God." I recently
talked with a pastor
friend and who
shared that God was
speaking the same
revelation to their
church.
It seems that over the
past few years many
of our churches have
been operating by the
direction of books and
writings of "Dr. So and
So" Pastors have
been preaching the
results of the latest
study and surveys of
church members. My
question in the last
year or so is, "what
has happened to ,
thus saith the Word of
God. Or, "The Bible
says . . .". The Bible
says everything else
will pass away but the
Word of God is
forever.
Instead of pastors
and churches trying
to imitate other
successful pastors
and ministries, they
need to be what God
has called and
empowered them to
do.
I ask you to pray for
the Rudds in 2010
that we can be what
God has called us to
be and not be molded
by those considered
to be successful in
the gospel music
industry, but rather be
influenced and led
only by God's will for
us. Pray that God will
send and anoint the
Rudds to deliver the
message in Word and
song that God has
inspired and revealed
to them.
I believe God has a
work for us. You are
the means of that
being accomplished.
Pray and then call
that we may come
worship with you and
partner for the glory
of God.
