| OCTOBER 2009 It's definitely fall in northwest Indiana. The wind is coming off the lake, temperatures are dropping, leaves are changing colors and the robins are gone. But it's a beautiful time of the year. The Rudds are anxiously looking forward to the upcoming dates. It won't be long until the holidays are here. Someone described Thanksgiving as a time when families get together for a great feast. Some one else answered "the Rudds do that every week". : ) That we do!! Naomi recently was awarded a doctorate degree. The Rudd University awarded her a doctorate degree in "domestic engineering". The board of trustees, Rodney, Keith, Shellie, Amy, Jim and Leighanne have looked at her qualifications and found them beyond measure. Just a few of those qualifications are; being a wonderful, loving and unselfish mother of five. Through births and rearing she never missed a singing date. The births all came early in the week and by weekend she was ready to go. She keeps her house well and makes it a home were love abides. She has been a model wife, mother, singing partner, pastor's wife and example for all to follow. Just mention grand kids and she'll begin the stories about the most wonderful, smartest, most talented grand kids in the world. The accolades could go on and on and on but before pride sets in I better move on. Our new project, "Reflections", is doing great. Our first radio release from the project is "We'll Be Happy". It's being played at southern gospel radio stations all over the country. Call your local radio station and request it. Knowing that we were a blessing and may have drawn you closer to the Lord or encouraged your christian walk is what it's all about. Being used of the Lord is our reward.
